Got a brisket on right now. Had a funny point so I ended up doing an odd trim but it's running nice and on time.

Had a house full. I grilled 70 hamburgers, 72, hot dogs and 30 brats and sausages. There was also pea salad, bbq beans, pasta salad, queso and chips, ambrosia, potato salad. Desert was brownies and peanut butter cake.
I'm beat. |

A marathon day of cooking wears you out pretty goddamn bad. Sit down and have a whiskey drink and relish in the fact it's all done and was all good.

I think I am going to pay a transient to make the burger patties next time. 70 was a lot of effort to weigh and smoosh. |

Cooked a family pack of 14 thin boneless pork chops along with a can of sweet corn and a can of peas. Brushed pork chops with a mixof soy sauce, Worcester sauce, black pepper, Sesame Oil, Ginger powder, Garlic Powder, Dijon Mustard, Paprika and dried Italian seasonings. Fried in vegetable oil. Really tasted great.
Have 5 left over. |
