The royals literally started a pipeline. And baseball was oh hell no, no small market dominance.
They've done a few things to **** small market clubs. Which is God damn ridiculous.

That's because the MLBPA wants money spent on MLB players not 16 year olds, it's shit they fight for in the CBA.

For discussion in hindsight would you have kept Andrew Benintendi at the contract that he signed with Chicago for? 5 for 75. Average of 15 million per year.

Pratto has been really bad defensively. Up the thread you'll see me bitching about a 2-base error he made when he tried backhanding a routine grounder and ended up booting it into RF. Beyond that, statistically, his 'Def' for 2023 per fangraphs is well negative already (-3.6), and that's a counting stat. He put up that big of a negative in only 11 games, meaning he has cost the team almost 4 runs on defense in just those 11 games. Horrible! He was negative last year as well, -3.9 in 49 games.

Pratto fails both the eye and the statistical tests on defense. I know his reputation is that he's really good at D but he just hasn't been able to perform anywhere near that reputation in the bigs.

Whoever made that tweet up the thread about Pratto helping the defense didn't actually check how he's been doing, nor was he watching that game over the weekend I was bitching about. I think the tweeter was just going on rep.

you're a bitch, chiefs country. I give you both observations and stats, I make my case like a ****ing attorney, and you give me a downvote for it. In the future, don't say demonstrably false shit and you won't get corrected on it, and then you won't have any replies to get upset about and downvote.

It has nothing to do with the MLBPA. They ****ed teams small markets in the draft too.

Could be low on electrolytes if he sweated a lot today.

Royals hitters looked like they had a plan at the plate today.
