Federer still won more. Even with the longevity and playing in what you yourself called a “pile of trash” conference for a decade, Lebron still will never have more. |

Same nonsense posts he's been making for eight years on that subject. They've generated this ideal in their minds of what MJ was and what he did and set an unreasonable standard that nobody will ever reach. It doesn't matter what anybody else accomplishes or how obvious it becomes that somebody has had (or is in the process of having) a better career than him. Whether that is LeBron himself (and he very clearly is going to have the better career by any individual statistical measure) or somebody else that comes after LeBron, MJ will always be the GOAT by that standard. It couldn't be any more of a ridiculous or irrational position to take.

It's also getting really old all your LeBron vs MJ posts. Are you going to make these posts after every great LeBron playoff game? Let it go. Fair or not he's got to win more championships to be considered better buddy. Until then it is like comparing Peyton Manning to Brady. Sure he's got the stats to be up there but he's not a winner like Brady was and that's why you play the game - to win championships. So make a MJ vs LeBron post after LeBron wins another championship. |

Even if he doesn't pass the eyeball test (and it seems everyone except Lebron fanboys... including those who don't give a shit knows MJ was more consistently great in the clutch), you keep blaming his supporting cast & coaches. Part of Lebron's legacy will be his leadership. He couldn't get along with coaches, doesn't want to run any offense except ISO ball, and he multiple times ruined teams by forcing his front office to make crippling personnel decisions. He's accountable for that too. MJ was an asshole, but what he wanted made the team better. Those things absolutely matter. |

KCC is to LeBron what Arrow2 is to Kobe. Just read their posts and smile and move on.

Yes, lebron will win longevity and is great at more things. But don't ever tell me lebron's peak is better than mj's peak. Last 5 min of every game was the mj show on offense and defense. Greatest mid range/fadeaway ever. Greatest defender ever. Greatest scorer ever. Greatest finisher ever. Greatest clutch athlete in the history of sports. Mj has multiple clutch shots in the finals and defensive plays. lebron only has a block. This push for lebron as goat is getting ridiculous. So is this whole idea that lebron is so heavily criticized is getting overblown. He is the most overglorified player in sports history. Yes, he's received his share of criticism but that was more before. Only one guy now ever criticizes him and its skip bayless. There is also a push by lebron fans to say alot of jordan's value is nostalgia. That is bull. Jordan is Goat. Lebron has a slim chance of taking that title.
Another point, IF I already had a decent supporting cast that took care of alot of the duties lebron fulfills, I'm taking a MJ hands down. Lebron is perfect for bad supporting casts. There are heavy diminishing returns when you start adding stars because lebron's value is that he does everything. This is why he doesnt have a good chance to win another title unless there are injuries involved. |
