Spot on...Too many in today's America are begging to be offended by a regurgitated tweet, post or sound byte. They are to lazy and distracted as they jump in with the gang to decry the next perceived objectionable comment, that they never actually care to see what was actually said and the context.

Because far too often it works. They get upset, the person who made the comment either retracts their statement or apologize for “hurtful comments”. Not only did Butker not do either, he continues to stand by what he said. Now some like Mr Wingo have to attack the organization for what they did.

We've all been conditioned by social media to think things matter....when in reality people don't really care about the "things".

This is where I'm at with it. Had it not been brought up here, I'd have never known he made any speech. He's earned his coin. And I don't care what his social/private proclivities may be.

Sad when being a devout catholic is a bridge too far for the left.

Can just see the future draft shows, so and so is likely to fall because he is ...too catholic. Some team will take a chance but with his Notre Dame background that is just a red flag, East and West coast teams have just crossed him off their lists.
