They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I don't get it.

Why puff out your chest when we lose a game by 1 point without Kelce? You think he's not worth that 1 point?
I think the disappointment is we expected Skyy and Toney to take a step this year.

Not that they can't, they just haven't given us any indication so far that they will.

Also, I'm not saying JuJu was some ass kicking fool. But he was a 1000 yard veteran who could make key receptions. We're missing that right now.

I wouldn't melt down yet. The Defense with all the young starters ****ing blew last season for awhile and got good when it mattered. WBF

I don't care on Toney, he's an NFL wide receiver and after seeing that shit I wouldn't start him on my 6th grade team this weekend. He looked like he hit a gravity bong before the game.

He lacked basic middle school fundamentals

They caught the ball but they weren't getting open at a good rate either.

JuJu was basically an 1,000 yard WR last year and clearly WR1.

That is a major loss and the Chiefs not replacing him with another veteran/proven WR looks highly questionable right now.

And we're one game into this thing, and people are already acting like the season is over and it's all a failure.

It's going to be okay. No Kelce, no Jones, and it still took a fluke pick 6.

Lions are good. Chiefs will get it figured out.
No it isn’t. Part of it is that but there was an arrogance that mahomes can carry anybody and that as long as kelce can slay we can drag this out as long as we can.

And that we need balance. **** balance. We need to win offense. The defense is a nice touch but even in a day like today where they more than did their job that is not how we win games. In a game where the offense should have done just enough save for some dumb mistakes it still would have been an unsatisfying win. Because we know this OFFENSE even with a salary cap is beyond capable of winning every damn game

I agree with surrounding him with a lot of talent to see if any of these guys can rise to the top. I refuse to accept the idea that this offense cannot dominate even in the new cap era. And it starts first with stopping with the ridiculous idea that the entire offense centers around carrying JAGs. Either perform like starters or get the **** off the roster. Good enough is not good enough.

At least four of them will put it together before the season's over, beginning next week. No idea who those four will be. That is all I ever expected from this group. But based on what happened in one game, we are building a bunch of crosses at One Arrowhead Drive because we are all smarter than Veach and Reid and one week is the whole NFL season.

Which position group?

Is it WR where he has yet to find a single above average player?

Is it DT where he hasn’t found a single solid player?

Is it DE where we’re maybe hoping one of the 1st round picks turns into something?

Is it OT where we have to pay $20 million a year to a RT and sign a LT off the trash heap because we can’t find any OTs in the draft?
