Sit everyone that will help us win playoff games

The risk to reward ratio just isn’t there to start Mahomes.

Give him a whole offseason for him to be ready and for the OL to learn how to block for him versus Alex.

If Pat starts a meaningless game and gets hurt, Andy should be fired.

And let's sit him in difficult games next year, because it's just too risky. Let's sign Alex to a 10 year extension, maybe Mahomes will be ready to take the diaper off after 7-8 years.

The reward FAR outweighs the risk. Nothing can prepare him for NFL speed, let him go out into low pressure game and take some lumps. He’s not a faberge egg injuries happen, he needs to play.

People act like the kid is so far behind in development he has been the #3 all season.

Umm no that's been Bray, because apparently Mahomes in his first season is ahead of Bray in his 5th.

The staff thinks the kid is good enough that if Smith had been hurt in a game he would be the backup and finish it. Bray being inactive all season tells you a lot. They weren't worried about the kid getting hurt all regular season if he had to play or Bray would have been active on game days.

Not enough in existence for the kind of stupidity in this thread. The kid needs to play.

We need to play the starters. In Reid's three playoff games we rested the starters during the previous week twice. We lost both times.

The Chiefs are on fire right now. If Reid has half a brain, he will play the starters and try to beat Denver. Momentum is everything right now.

Mahomes can wait.

If that happens they frankly deserve to have some injuries come and bite them in the ass. Resting starters is no different than having a bye week. Are you saying you would rather not have a first round bye if we were the #1 or 2 seed?

It's completely different. Having a playoff bye means you are one of the best two teams in the division. We are not one of the best two teams in our division. Plus, we lost the game after our regular season bye week.

Look, if we lose some starters to injury so be it. We probably won't win the SB anyway. However, momentum is everything right now. It's so important that it's worth the risk.

Stop crying Mahomes fanboy. That's all your opinion is about when it comes down to it.
