He also jukes himself out of his own bones whereas Worthy isn't injury prone at all

He's not even as athletic as Justin Watson. He's sucked his entire pro career. There is no reason to ever think he will be good.

I don't think you know what the word "athletic" means.

Yes as far as football is concerned.

Sweet!!

We have FINALLY put a nail in the coffin of RAS.

Now that BWillie is citing it, I presume we can all put to rest the idea that it has any evidentiary value whatsoever?

RAS is the single dumbest metric to ever exist.

"Oh sure, Toney has a better 40, 20, broad, shuttle and cone....but he's less athletic because he's shorter!!!

RAS: Always has been, always will be, COMPLETELY reeruned. And Bwillie's adoption of same should pretty much bury any arguments to the contrary.

He’s lazy and doesn’t have proper technique. His ego is too big.

Feels like there’s levels to these guys.

Worthy seems like a guy with gifted speed and tracking ability and worked hard to become a solid route runner. Same thing as DeSean Jackson.

Then you have guys in the middle like Hardman who works hard and has gifted speed, but isn’t a complete player who can track the ball well or sell routes.

Then there’s guys like Toney and Claypool who had excellent combine numbers but are lazy as hell and no work ethic to get in the mid level Hardman area and will be out of the league bc of it.

If Tony never dropped a ball again he would still suck. But remember that time he adjusted his gloves before catching the football?!

Worthy appears to be able to track footballs. Which is a huge skill. He seems to like the game. Luckily he appears nothing like Toney who just tricks everyone into thinking he's this amazing football player because he does these really stupid unnecessary juke moves.

Yeah - its rare to see someone so insanely gifted that he can not actually enjoy playing football and still be good at it at the highest level.

Someone like Ricky Williams comes immediately to mind. Honestly, I don't think Calvin Johnson really liked playing football.

But most of the time you get Kadarius Toney or Josh Rosen. If a dude enjoys being good at football more than he enjoys playing football, he's gonna eventually find a level where the guys are as talented as he is but will actually put the work in as well. And not because they have to (in which case you get the bare minimum) but because they genuinely enjoy it.

Toney's going to have to get humbled and it's starting to seem more and more likely that he simply lacks the self-awareness for that sort of thing to happen.

Worthy also seems significantly more intelligent than Toney and you know that has to play a huge role.

Most of these guys are such physical freaks that they just never have to really expand their abilities. I remember watching Dorial at Hillcrest here in Springfield when he was in JR high and high school.

The guy that coached them in JR high is a friend of a friend, we were talking about it after a round of golf the other day. He said he scored every touch he had in JR high. Not a successful play, but scored a TD. Every touch, all year.

Exactly. His "Yung Joka" alter ego should've been a non-starter from day one.

Nah, then we don't get the greatest PR in SB history.

True, but I think KC wins that game anyway.
