They are miserable people.

You don't see them in any threads today drooling over the defense, or getting excited about our young pass rushers, because they prefer to focus on the negative.

It's the same people that pop up every single time things get a little ugly. They tend to either disappear or not be around as much when things are great. It's not a coincidence.

CP is always a place for the miserable minded band of buffoons.

The best things you can have in this league are an elite QB and elite defense. It's even better if you have a good coach and OL. You have those things and shit will work out most of the time. Patriots proved that time and time again.

It's like Mecca just bitched to bitch

MVS? 6 for 116 in the AFCCG when we had to have it. He stepped up beyond his role.

And Skyy's two games in with an expanded role, with one zilch game and one pretty good one. So maybe it's going to be ok.
Not talking about ability or athleticism. I’m talking about running the routes, hitting the right spots, adjusting to where mahomes wants them to move. Then there’s just the instincts to attack the ball where our WRs tend to wait for the ball to come to them. It feels like we often value athleticism or playing a specific role over instinct and fundamentals. Which is why rashee and Ross feel different. They just seem to have a more natural feel for the position than everyone else we have except Watson.

It’s not like it’s just happening. It does seem like certain WRs are frequently on a total different page than mahomes.

It's so easy to tell in GDTs when the Chiefs lead early and things are looking good, then suddenly there's a little adversity... there are suddenly ~5-10 new faces who conveniently stopped by just as shit isn't completely going the Chiefs' way.

A few people yesterday were damn close to climaxing all over the thread every time the Jags had the ball in the 2nd half.

Seems like a pretty miserable way to enjoy the glory years, if they're even Chiefs fans at all.

Why does it feel like we love WRs with questionable instincts and Iq? Mecole and drob never picked it up. I don’t love Mvs’ instincts. Skyy often just doesn’t feel on the same page.

No one runs a better clear-out route than MVS.

I agree. That’s another reason I’d love Ross and rice in a primary role sooner. I think our biggest need right now is a consistent target monster. If we can set that, then Mvs and skyy become even more valuable with more targets per snap bc they’re playing a more defined role. Toney is getting more consistent targets but he feels like more a utility guy.

I think we’ve got a lot of guys who sporadically contribute. And that’s where juju, even if being pretty so so, feels a little missed right now. it feels like Watson is used for this purpose and that’s passable. But we’re just holding the door open until rice and ross are ready for meaningful snaps.

Fun fact:

We're paying MVS $2.5M more than the other 9 WR's under contract COMBINED.
