*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

That's really not true anymore, the probation and the desire to hire a 10 cent head coach have really hurt the talent out there.

Does anyone remember the timing on when the Texans executed the trade to move up to 12? I know Dorsey had that specific agreement in place with Buffalo for like a week or more to move into the 10 spot only if Mahomes was still on the board after 9 picks. Chiefs really stole the Texans thunder on that deal.

They all have a 'WTF just happened?' look on their face.

So maybe Veach convinced Reid and Dorsey to get Mahomes. Fine. But Dorsey pulled some goddamn jedi ninja stuff to get to exactly the right spot ahead of 3 teams that were all over him (or had an eye on a trade up to get him).

We took Houston's guy and everyone in that room knows it.

I just remember that Dorsey called the Bills at EVERY pick from 1-10 to make sure that the trade was still in place.

Mahomes is the new measuring stick. Every other QB drafted in last 3 years other than him and Wentz looks like a waste of time.
