Just pulled 3 pork shoulder steaks rubbed in Riley’s Cajun seasoning off the coals, seriously there’s just nothing better than Riley’s in this situation... it’s THE perfect stand alone pork rub
And 6 boneless chicken thighs in Old Bay, along with some scratch 4 blend mac n cheese and a side salad with tomato and radish... so I’ve got tonight plus work lunches and a few breakfasts pretty much covered until Wednesday Winning! |

Smoked a roasted red pepper and mozz stuffed sausage for a get together on Friday, then put the leftovers with some whole wheat spaghetti and gravy last night.

Made/ate Bananas Foster for the first time in my life. Shit, I've been missing out. Used a little too much butter and ended up with an enormous pile because my 3 year old decided he doesn't like bananas and ice cream. Two thing he will eat in unlimited quantities 9/10.

I just made this and it's a big hit in the Rain Man household:
https://smittenkitchen.com/2008/04/shaker-lemon-pie/ It was easy to make too. I'll note that it requires some patience because you make the first part and then have to let it sit for 24 hours before you finish it. But it's worth it. It has a great flavor that lingers in your mouth long after you've finished your piece of pie. |

So this is ridiculously expensive. But it's really really tasty. I'm guessing it's going to last a long time since it's so spicy. Incredible hot pepper flavor for hot pepper addicts... This is seriously spicy no joke...
