*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

My goodness.
I forget if both drives stalled, but Mahomes could have had an easy long TD to Watkins and a possible 99-yard TD to Hill if he dropped it on a dime.

Imagine 8TDs with those two bombs.

It's only two-games so I don't want to get ahead of myself here but I don't see many weaknesses with this kid at all. He's got all the tools and he is smart. He's making good decisions and avoiding INTs

Can't wait till next Sunday.

This, as long as he keeps (and believes) this "just have to get it to my playmakers" attitude there is absolutely no stopping what he may be able to do.

People need to quit hedging. Kid is playing out of his mind. He is the truth. A bad game won't change that. It isn't smoke and mirrors like some of the young qbs we have seen over the years.

Yeah he is on fire right now. He's legit I'm not saying he isn't but it's still just two-games. Long season...

Once teams get more tape on him they'll try and find his weaknesses and it'll be interesting to see how he responds.. Right now defenses really don't have much tape on him but that will change.. That's why some QBs go through 'sophomore slump.'

But to do what he did these past two-games in his first season as a starter is pretty damn amazing. Couldn't ask for a better start from the kid.

I apologize a ton if this was mentioned already - but I never knew this - did you guys discuss this?

Again apologies - I don't remember if CP ever talked about this.

Good video here. Simms has been a big supporter of Mahomes going all the way back to the draft.

He has been one of the ones pushing the INT narrative.
