65 overalls in the 4th round? You need to get better at drafting.

Plz stop. Aside: drafting is harder this year. You're not going to be able to scout every player as much as you want to. I didn't scout any of the QBs because I wanted to save points for other positions, and I still was lacking a lot of scouting data. It's far more realistic...really like it. |

About 5-6 years ago Madden was all about grabbing as many speed guys as you could find. They've gotten away from that a bit but Clay's video makes it look like they put it on it's head entirely this year.
Get yourself a big damn WR and fire bullet passes and the new engine will let him do all kinds of 'big receiver' shit to just go take it away. Interesting change in gameplay and probably a good thing. Size is still pretty critical for a lot of those downfield 50/50 balls. |

I couldn't do that for shit with Conley or Kelce last season. Hence, why I drafted him. |

You are ****ing horrendous at this game. You don't make any effort to throw actual intermediate routes and just spam bombs to receivers that are double and triple covered. It's actually impressive how ****ing bad you are.

You're not going to see many of my intermediate plays in highlights, though, because they are not relevant to the outcome. It's just a first down. Why would I share that? But just to show you...
Spoiler!
My offense is multiple, sir. Unlimited. Perhaps someday I'll show you my screen/flat game. But you're right. I am ****ing horrendous. I have a distinct inability to read defenses quickly. But I am getting better. The day will dawn. Last edited by Hammock Parties; 11-07-2017 at 09:17 AM.. |

You take too long to make decisions. On that intermediate route, notice how the WR had to dive for the ball, and that you were making a tight fit between three defenders. It took a great play to pull that off, whereas Kelce was open on the drag route immediately. Given that it was third and short, tossing it to him in that situation is almost a certain catch and conversion.
TE drag routes are unstoppable against zone coverage in football video games if you time the throw correctly. |
