That replay just proved again, that the ball hit the black net holder

If I was a player, I might be a little annoyed Q didn’t get himself tossed over that.
I know it doesn’t change anything but I’d appreciate the fire. It’s rare to see such a black and white call be wrong on replay. |

It wasn't even close either. It clearly hit the black thing that is touching the netting. Itd be like saying well anything that hits the wall is a home run because the wall touches the homerun line.

I've been looking at the video frame by frame, and it's a little difficult to follow the ball when it gets near the foul pole. But these two screenshots pretty much show that it was foul. The ball is circled in red in both shots.
In the first one, you can see that there is not a white blur in front of that black bar sticking out, which is in foul territory according to the announcers. In the second one, the ball is clearly in front of that bar. Again, foul according to the announcers. |

Surely we are playing this under protest?
And if we are and they rule in our favor, they resume the game from that point with us leading 2-1, right? None of the other runs count at that point. |

this game went into the shitter. They're drilling our pitching and our offense has looked non-existent since the 2nd inning.

If the fans there don't go out and disembowel the umpire crew are they really even fans?

Way to go Hud, tell it like it is, and the rest of MLB knows also, that call was botched.
