Chiefs Culture

The Chiefs era under Reid started 9-0 in 2013, and now is 9-0 to start this season.

Y'all gotta get a piece of this epic opening statement by Nick Jacobs on what makes the Chiefs culture under Reid special over that amount of time.

It is fantastic. I love it. And I present it here with no further comment:

And I don't have a time stamp, I'm sorry. But the PFT folks spend some great time talking about what it's like to be at a Chiefs practice, and the culture that has enveloped that entire organization.

What a time to be a Chiefs fan.

I enjoyed the GMFB commentary this morning where someone compared this Chiefs season to the movie The English Patient

Its boring, no one (except those involved) really enjoys watching it but its still winning the Academy Award for best picture

On the note of culture, some of the young players are teammates with their sports heroes.

41 is the Mic has to be easily the best Chiefs youtube channel (podcast) out there. Matt and Nick have great chemistry and both are extremely knowledgable, having covered the team for many years.

I think the spot you're referring to starts around 2 minutes in.

Yeah, that was an enjoyable take from Kyle Brandt, a Princeton graduate and honorary member of Bills Mafia. He has interesting views and he's good about recognizing greatness in other teams.

I've never seen Nick Jacobs before.

Dude is peak CP demographic. Get him into a pair of cargo jorts, put him in the Camaro and get the heck over to our tailgate. Cmon.

Hey at least Nick is likable and gets outside. Have you seen Chris Clark? Nick just needs to shave his head and hit the ozempic.

Matt Derrick is the best though. Not pretentious, not trying to be the biggest and best Chiefs guy out there - just a smart, hard working guy and a very easy listen. I also love that the guys on 41 is the Mic don’t sit there and snort each others farts and then giggle for ten minutes. Repeatedly.

I think he was taking about Simms freaking out. They were watching a bank of TVs with different games on it. I don't think they had Perna's stream going.
