Of course I do! 1GB fiber optic actually ran straight to the house. I like to watch movies when I want to and not "IF" they are streaming or not. Makes for a nice day off. Yes, we have Netflix, Paramount +, Disney, Amazon Prime, Max, ESPN +,etc. You sound like my wife. I do NOT pay for 4K and it is just a little thing I wanted to dabble into to see what it is all about - nothing more, nothing less.

Streaming 4K is heavily compressed. The end product is pretty decent given how much information is lost, but uncompressed 4K discs are better.
Edit: to stream uncompressed 4K@60, you’d need 12Gbps of bandwidth. Most people don’t even have 1 Gbps. Last edited by Third Eye; Today at 09:16 AM.. |
