MVS would be more valuable if Justin Watson got hurt.

Watson and MVS do the exact same thing, with Watson having slightly better ball tracking and contested catch skills.

Don't think they bring him in, but he might get a "stay ready" text.

Rashee’s Buick Skylark couldn’t have made those tracks.

It was clearly Skyy Moore’s Pontiac’s Tempest with positraction and an independent rear suspension.

And since both were made by GM, both were available in metallic mint green paint.

Watson has never done anything close to what MVS has done in the playoffs and has never even had a 70 yard game in the league before. The two are not the same.

They will bring him in for sure. They have nothing to lose by doing so.

You're being mean to Justin Watson. He had a better 2023.

2. What are the chances a new guy comes in and picks up the offense straight away? Very slim imo.

3. Folks saying "we don't need another speed guy" so why the feck did Veach sign Brown and draft Worthy then? Brown and Worthy were supposed to be the two outside guys so clearly Reid and Veach had plans to utilise their speed.

4. Veach is not going to trade high draft picks for rentals who might not even pick up the offense properly before they hit free agency.

5. We can all be negative about MVS and yes he had some rough games last year. But the fact is he would be cheap, knows the system and has a proven track record of coming up big when it matters the most.

But hey most of the folks who don't want MVS back are the same folks who didn't want Juju or Kareem back so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
1. True, but is it sustainable the rest of the season? Questioning if his body can sustain that workload for another 12 games (not counting playoffs).

2. Depends on the receiver. Rookies tend to take longer to learn the system than a vet would.

3. We could always use a speed guy. He just needs to bring more to the table than just speed. Regular season MVS doesn’t bring anything.

4. Agree

5. There’s a good chance that he will be available come playoff time. Get him then. Just don’t get him now when there are other options out there.

Put him on the practice squad, just incase. I really don’t want him back, but we can’t depend on Juju to hold up for another 15 games.

Trade Skyy and our og third for Dionte Johnson and sign MVS to the PS and keep trying to make another deal at the deadline to add another WR/DE. Add a future conditional pick in if that’s what it takes.

What other options? Veach has only traded for a 30 year old rental once in his entire tenure as gm and it was Melvin Ingram for a 6th. Most of the names suggested come with big contracts too. If the Saints continue to tank I'd look at Shaheed. Him or Jalin Hyatt seem like a Veach move but I can't see anyone else Veach would break his trade tendencies for tbh.

If MVS pushes Skyy down the road, I’m in. Just need to sign Bam Morris to trigger CEHs exit.
