Because of where KC drafts they will be hard pressed to outbid anyone without giving up significantly more. Honestly the Tenn pick in the third round is about the only decent pick KC could offer.

The raiders aren’t completely against dealing with us. They traded with us for that DT that sucks. I know it’s a false equivalency, but that at least showed there’s an open line of communication.

A 600 yard WR isn't going to cut it if that is the only move.

I used to be a fan of us trading for him, but if he’s getting suspended by the team because of disruption due to lack of targets, he would only be a distraction here short and long term and I’d rather dodge that bullet.

Just what the **** do you actually expect, man?!

You expect Veach to go out and poach a 1,000 yard receiver mid-season?

no, man. That's almost certainly NOT going to happen.

Superman ain't walking through that door.

Amari Cooper is your best case realistic scenario.

Adams or Hopkins are not coming.

Yes.

Johnson has had over 1,000 receiving before in a bad offense. He would be just fine, too.

I don't know if a guy who is suspended by his team for missing multiple practices feels like a fit.

What I mean is that Cooper is not going to get 1,000 yards in the remainder of this season, even if he shows up tomorrow. Not in this offense.

There's nobody that's going to put up #1WR type numbers.

There are guys that might be nice pieces, that can help the team, sure.

But it's not Madden. It's an offense that's notoriously difficult to pick up.

Veach isn't going to give up multiple high picks or really any top #64 type picks for a rental. He never has, and I'd be shocked if he did so for any WR over 30, or that comes with a massive price tag.

Diontae would be great, but I seriously doubt that's do-able.

Cooper is your best bet, and he won't be a 1,000 yard guy here in what remains of 2024. He could be a nice piece as he works into the offense.

Right!? ...We're the #1 team in the league and won the last 2 SBs with less receiving talent.

Doubs would be plenty enough to get us to the playoffs.

Come playoffs Brown, Doubs, and Worthy would be a lot more ammo then we had last year!

Rice may be back in January and we have Hollywood.

I think we're good. More 14 sets a Kareem the defenses on the ground.

I'd also to add watch Hunt pound the rock made me Kareem myself a couple times. It got messy on that 4th and 1.

This team could have easily hung 30+ on a pretty dang good Saints defense. That is without Pacheco and Hollywood who should be back for the playoffs. Im starting to think this team can cruise to a 15-2 or 14-3 record and #1 seed. Getting Pacheco and Hollywood back late in the year will be a major shot in the arm. Im indifferent but starting to think Veach won't overpay for one of these receiver trade candidates being discussed.

Doubs was sad because he bought the media hype on himself.

He would be fine with a change in scenery if he went here.
