Oh I agree. Not pointing the finger at Jackson, just at studios that are willing to destroy IP for a possible quick buck.

Does anyone else find themselves rooting for Sauron a bit in this? He’s evil as hell but has become a pretty well developed villain.

Also, I still don’t see much season to hate this show. The Harfoot/Stranger stuff always drags (and I think the showrunners have even recognized that in S2) but the Numenor and Sauron/Celebrimbor storylines work well.

The harfoot/stranger stuff is terrible imo. I'm two episodes behind though.

Seven storylines to fledge out and develop, but only 8 hours of show time to do it. It's just way too many.
