Let’s be honest…those are likely four fringe playoff teams. Not quite murderer’s row. KC’s schedule has probably been tougher.

Did I forget someone? I feel like I did. But the Donks have changed quarterbacks so often, that it's hard to keep up. |

You could also get a real QB if you had really good scouts. |

The Broncos opponents’ record is 11-5. In other words, they’ve played a playoff team. The Chiefs opponents’ record is 7-9. And when you break that record out, it’s a 7-9 team that has overachieved. The Ravens are starting to figure it out. Not so much when they played the Chiefs (they lost at home to the mighty Raiders the next week). The Bengals need to play a little better to be considered a dumpster fire. Good thing you have a good kicker, or they would be a dumpster fire that beat the Kansas City Chiefs. The Falcons? Well, Raheem Morris snapped defeat from the jaws of victory in that one. He takes the points, and you likely lose (also, the back judge ignoring a blatant PI on Kyle Pitts made his contribution). You guys keep mentioning how injured the Bucs were when we blew them out in their house? Well, I see your Bucs and raise you squeaking by against the corpse of the Chargers |

1) We have not been good for almost a decade. and 2) ROTC’s take is bad - very bad. And no need to get worked up. Saying our schedule through four games has been more difficult than yours is not saying we are better than you. |

They are not good...no matter how you want to frame it. Your QB is another wasted pick...so it's just more of the same wishful projection. We'll have this same conversation two seasons from now..when they draft his replacement. One of these decades...they'll get it right. |

Come on, Tex. I'm not trolling. We actually probably agree on most of this.
I am not arguing that the Broncos are on the Chiefs level. They clearly aren't. That being said, you probably agree with me on two things: 1) The Broncos defense is good; and 2) Nothing even remotely good comes of this season for them if the offense doesn't improve. Where we differ would be with these concepts: 1) The defense is better than it was last year (I believe it is). 2) If the defense isn't the best defense in the NFL, it is certainly top-5. 3) Bo Nix's start is in no way indicative of whether or not he will succeed in the NFL. 4) The offense will look much different in, say, week 16 than it has so far. Do you disagree with any of the first part of that? |

Baltimore isn't "starting to figure it out." They were very good last year and might be even better this year. They've been great in every game but the Raiders (probably overlooked them). Not sure what point you were trying to make by mentioning that KC's games have been close. It's like you were trying to prove my point. Tough games = close games. You call it a "7-9 team that's overachieved." Then you go on to say that they all could/should have beaten the Chiefs. If they were good enough to beat the Chiefs and should have a better record, that means they've underachieved. You drunk? And yeah, when you lose one of the top receivers in the league (after already losing your #2 and your top RB) at the start of the game, you're probably not going to tear apart a defense that leads the league in points allowed. As for the Broncos' schedule... Seattle has home wins over the mighty Broncos and Dolphins w/ Skyler Thompson, and an OT win vs the Patriots. Tonight, they played the first good team on their schedule and got slapped down. Jets have beaten the Patriots and Titans. They'd have to try to have worse records. Neither team has proven a thing and both are likely average or below. KC's faced Lamar Jackson, Burrow, Cousins and Herbert. Denver's faced Geno, Fields, Mayfield and Rodgers' corpse. Yet it's a "very bad" take to argue that KC may have played a tougher schedule? Lol The only thing I'll amend about my original comment is that TB might be better than a fringe playoff team. Although they clearly weren't that day. |
