Last year he started slow, but at least he was getting targeted. 26 through his first 3 games.
This year? TWELVE TARGETS. Rash is eating into his workload, there have been quite a few instance where 87 was wide open and Pat went to Rice. Or where had Pat waited another half-second, Travis was open. Patience. It's coming. |

This team used to be completely reliant on those 2 guys. Now they are not. These guys will figure it out and start heating up at some point, and the rest of the team playing so well is a huge added bonus. |

I fixed it. I benched Kelce on my fantasy team against the Chargers. Now he should feast. You’re welcome.

He had a good year last year, but I thought he looked different and I think he looks much worse this year. Does that mean he can't be a difference maker in the post season... No. Yes, we've seen Mahomes have stretches where he's looked out if sync, but we haven't really seen stretches where Travis has looked like this or had several games in a row with so few catches/yards. I think it is what it is. I'm sure at some point he will have better games. If nothing else, at some point, some D is going to test out whether they really need to be paying so much attention to him. Better LT play could no doubt help the whole offense including getting Travis more targets/receptions. |

Yeah, I'm not saying he looks prime, or even close. Obviously he looks slower, in particular his initial acceleration off the line looks slower. And he definitely is walking off some plays. But he looked that way early last season. And at some point he 'woke up.' I just think he'll start looking more like himself as the season progresses. |
