Sounds like a really stupid situation for all involved. The gist I could glean is somebody on the UNLV side of things made a verbal agreement with Sluka or his representatives that was evidently reneged on.

It’s sad because nostalgically, I’d rather the college game still had the facade of amateurism - whatever that is. But that’s long gone now.

And employees will try to carve out extras too.
