What are your NFL WK 1 Overreactions?

Curious what your overreactions are to players and teams after wk1?

I'll start...

1. Chiefs are going to be deadly and Worthy finishes as the #1 rookie WR.

2. Chase gets paid, Bengals miss the playoffs.

3. Tampa wins their division.

4. Achane finishes as a top 3 RB.

5. Rodgers has a mediocre year.

Just thinking of teams that aren't in the playoff conversation at all who might be better than expected.

I take all this back if Dallas beats them 49-0 this weekend.
This is precisely the type of team Dallas has beat the brakes off of the last 5+ years. They look great against those fringe "good" teams, then get their asses kicked by any legit good teams.

1. This Chiefs team has a better percentage chance to win the Super Bowl than any other year prior

2. Jets are a third place team at best

3. Browns will be picking in the top 10

4. Texans are our biggest competition in the AFC

5. Chargers make a wild card spot

6. Packers will still be a heavy Super Bowl contender by playoffs

7. Caleb Williams never really figures it out this year

8. Tampa wins the South, again

9. Rams struggle with the injury bug all year along, costing them what could be a good season

I shouldn't have drafted McCaffrey 1 overall.

49ers are the best team in the NFC.

Bears are gonna be 8-8.

Baker Mayfield will lead TB to the NFCCG.

Sam Darnold will lead MIN to the playoffs.

This one isn't a hot take, it's becoming more like a NFC-S tradition, but CAR-HC Canales will be fired before the end of the season.

My overreactions:
1). The way the NFL structures the off-season programs exposes mediocre and poor coaching staffs. I think week one readiness is a criteria to monitor going forward. Only about four teams showed up ready to play this week. Ancillary hot take: the NFL is going to have to change course next negotiation to secure more structured team time in the off-season.

2) Eberflus and his offensive staff cannot effectively implement an NFL offense and will get shitcanned for people who can actually tap the bears offensive potential.

3) the chiefs and the niners stood above the rest of the NFL by a wide margin, and I don't think other teams can close the gap enough to compete barring injury.

I win both my fantasy league and my pickem league. The first is only possible if McCaffrey goes down with injury for the year since I have his backup.

Bengals are last in the division again. They start slow again (like they do every year) but this year fail to ever turn it on.

Packers miss the playoffs.

Burrow's throwing hand has nerve damage and he won't make it through the season and retires at the end of the 2024 season.

I'd almost list that as a real possibility at this point.

I don't think the Ravens make the playoffs. Most teams can just force Lamar to throw to his sub-mid WR's and profit. Spy him, blitz him, and let him dump off 15 times to the HB if he wants.
