Hope it’s injury free
ALL OF THIS.

I always worried about early games like this and how they might affect playoff seeding, but after seeing this team go to Buffalo AND Baltimore and bitch slap them both - not concerned in the least.

The more championships they win, the less I seem to get worked up over regular season football.

I think if PFF graded players on being the best at being dumber than a box of ball hairs, Lamuur would score the first ever perfect 100.

After catching a pass from himself in the AFCCG, Lamar Jackson admits the QB who threw it to him sucks at throwing the ball

You can't make this shit up

I love how the narrative is the ravens lost the AFCCG because they didn’t run enough and had they just stuck to the run they win easily.

Ravens rushing attempts/yards in losses to Mahomes Chiefs:

2018: 40/194 LOST 24-27
2019: 32/203 LOST 28-33
2020: 21/158 LOST 20-34

Mahomes only needs 84 yards to pass Lenny as the all-time leader in Chiefs passing yards.

The torch is passed tonight

I see where they are coming from as those three losses you listed came against a KC team with an explosive offense. Last year they were anything but, so if there was ever a time for them to get past KC it was last year.

They're going to overcorrect, they're going to come out and try to win this game by running Henry and Lamar about 42 times.

It's a proven fact that just running the ball on us even if it's effective does not mean you win. Many of those run run run drives end in 3 points not 7 points. Marty and Herm taught us that.

The old "we must establish the run" is the biggest joke of a strategy ever forced on football fans. Running the ball is important in the second half to kill your opponents will when you have the lead but it's not a game plan. Gett ****ing TD's any way you can and hit the damn QB as much as you can is a game plan.

They were hammered for being stupid 9 months ago for not running enough so this makes sense. To limit Lamar hits, they may run Henry's old, tired ass all night. Apparently, they paid Lamar to hand it off.

The ravens still trailed that anemic offense by 10 at the half just like they trailed by 10 at the half of those other games. And while last years Chiefs offense wasn’t elite, the defense was. They weren’t going to run their way back down 10 at the half. Other than 1 Gus Edward’s rush attempt, the rest of the rb’s carries went for like 2 yards.

First ravens drive off 2nd half:

Gus Edwards left end for 1 yard
Zay Flowers right end for 3 yards
Lamar Jackson pass incomplete deep left intended for Zay Flowers

They lost because the Chiefs kept Lamar in 3rd and long, and Lamar couldn’t convert.

And if not for a holding call and a fumble by Pacheco the game could have been 28-7 at the half.
