I think it's too high a pick to give for Sutton myself. the article is probably BS if you ask me.

49ers reportedly offered a 3rd round pick for WR Courtland Sutton

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the San Francisco 49ers offered the Denver Broncos a third-round pick for veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Their plan was to trade for Sutton and then send wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos obviously turned down this offer so the Steelers did not end up getting Aiyuk.

Yeah that would be a terrible trade for the Broncos. If Bo Nix is going to succeed you need to have urgency about adding weapons, not trading one of the few you have away.

Interesting note from history: Since meeting in the SB in 2015, the Broncos and the Panthers have one playoff appearance between the two teams.

And that one appearance doesn’t belong to the Broncos.

So Payton is as confident in Bo Nix as he was in Mahomes, the best QB he's ever seen, but didn't even have him pegged as the highest QB in this class.

They made a deal for Superfarce 50. This is them owning up to it. It's hilarious how different their games have been officiated since that fraud season.

Their biggest mistakes in since Manning retired was not hiring McVay or Rat Jr and passing on Josh Allen
