Man, if we sweep these guys tomorrow, it sure feels like Cleveland is on the verge of a collapse.

If we can split or better with the Astros, then we have a golden opportunity to create a major buffer in the Central with 6 home games against Cleveland and the Twins.

Last couple of days have been wild! Fair to say for whatever reasons, we’ve had Cleveland’s number this year. Let’s keep our boot on their necks for another week, then **** em, let them figure it out. If only we could do the same against the Twins!

And man, playing in that insane heat in KC last weekend, traveling to Cleveland, immediately playing a day/night doubleheader Monday, tonight’s game and an afternoon getaway game tomorrow, this has NOT been an easy stretch at all for the Royals and a tough way to begin the 20 game gauntlet.

But here we are! Tied for first place and a solid chance to sweep tomorrow. Unreal…

Daddy wanna ****!!!!

If we’re in first place after our series with the Yankees, then we’re in great shape.

After Cleveland comes to KC for 3, they go to the Dodgers for 3 more.

After we play the Yankees, we get the Pirates, Tigers, Giants, and Nationals. They’ll almost certainly all be eliminated from playoff contention when we play.

Ideally, we can go into the final series with the Braves up a game or two in the Central. If so, we may only need to win one of those three.

This is promising.

Man if the bullpen can use this game as a rallying point and actually be good moving forward……

I had hoped for a split of this series. Now a sweep is possible. Either way, huge momentum boost for us. 4-2 almost a third of the way through the gauntlet. Great job!
