*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Bad mechanics the scouts said. Bad decision making the scouts said. Only has a big arm.

Rugby style 2 handed lateral pass which will surely happen at some point this season with some pointers from LRZ
Behind the back lateral
Lateral kick pass (is that legal in NFL?)

The next generation of scouts will have to look at mechanics a different way and assess a traditional drop back pocket passer as being limited rather than the prototype.

What about the one where he motions out of backfield, then on the sprint back to shotgun catches it and spins and throws for a TD. It was maybe his second year starting? I recall they called it Ferrari or something. Never seen a QB going motion like that presnap!

Mahomes got compared to Stef Curry again, this time by Stefanski.

That comparison has frankly been an insult to Mahomes for years now.
