Nothing ideal, no.

But it's the best of bad options. He can learn the playbook better, watch the speed of the game from the sidelines and probably do some non-contact throwing/scout team work over the latter 1/3 of the season.

It would be a mostly, but not entirely, lost season. Which is still better than almost certainly diminishing the back half of his career in the hopes of rushing him back for a season that he's probably not ready for anyway.

I had a meniscus tear so that practically makes me like a doctor on the subject.

From my professional observation of the subject, I would say 4 to 5 games he will miss.

Great WRs will still produce with mediocre QBs because they become the go-to guy in the offense.

Addison's value just plummeted. And honestly I don't think it does Hockenson many favors either (unless you're in a PPR) but I think Jefferson's value will be as strong as it ever was.

Either he's healthy or he's not. If he is, he'll still be a fantastic producer.
