I'm starting to believe their ownership and executives have more concussions than Tua.

That is a colossally stupid contract.

Robert is seriously on drugs, how did he earn the right to become the highest paid quarterback? Tua has no playoff wins

You would not think it is crazy if they offered you that contract so it is a stupid comment

Sure. They’ll just head down to the local franchise QB store and buy the next Tom Brady. Easy peasy, hardly even an inconvenience.

Oh yeah because it is as easy as being at the top of the draft any year....NOT. With their investments through out the rest of that team this was their best overall option.
Like I said in another thread. Posters with 88 in the name say the darnedest things.

If you are top 10 and the most recent to extend/sign, you sometimes end up top paid. Although I'm not sold on Tua.

Miami didn't have great options. Starting over is not a great option.

This means the Cowgirls are going to have to back up the brinks truck to pay Dak Prescott cause his agent can come back and say, he’s qb’d back to back 12 win seasons. They still gotta pay CD Lamb and Micah Parsons too.

For Tua and all the other good non-elite quarterbacks that are getting insane money, when posters say just let them go and draft someone else it does not show an understanding of how hard it is to get a quarterback that is likely to be better.

Going back to the 2020 draft let’s look at who might’ve been picked. That would be better than Tua. The elite quarterback you are looking for.

Probably only Stroud and Burrow. Maybe Purdy, but I am going to put him into the next class, although one more year like last year and I think he moves up to elite. Maybe Richardson, but we don’t know. He could easily fall into the next class.

Quarterbacks that might’ve been picked who are about the same as Tua: Levis, Lawrence, Herbert, love, and Hurts, Purdy. Some might argue some of these are somewhat better than Tua and I can accept that. but I don’t think they are the elite quarterback that some seem to feel you can get if you just keep churning.

Who might’ve been picked, that was a total washout: probably Bryce Young, Pickett ,Ridder, Willis, Coral, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Jones, and Trask. I don’t think there’s any possible argument about these strikeouts other than maybe young.

So you’re probably not going to do any better than the kind of QB you already have in Tua, or any of these other second tier guys, and you stand a much stronger chance of drafting a washout, then drafting the elite guy you want.
