At this point I think they’re better off recasting Wolverine with someone more comic book accurate. A smaller name.

You are not going to match or outdo Jackman so don’t even try.

Find some dude who’s like 5’4”-5’6”, hairy, probably a little smelly but handsome with an animal magnetism.

And yeah, try to incorporate him into the team. If you want to make him the focal point, make a standalone movie for him where he can steal the shine.

Maybe it was just the kid in me loving the character, but I always felt like Wolverine was the epicenter of the X-Men comics as well.

For better and for worse, I feel like most of the X-Men movies handled him roughly similarly to the comics. The universe really did work around him for the most part.

I mean they could try a Storm or even a Cyclops arc here and there (obviously the Jean Grey stuff happened but she was pretty massive in some of the movies as well), but they didn't work as well for young DJLN.

Sounds like a weird idea(not a small name really either) but Daniel Radcliff might not be a bad choice for a younger smaller guy. He is in shape and 5'5 but he might need to put on a little bulk to pull it off. He seems to be more into artsy stuff but who can pass up a huge payday?

I’ve seen that idea floated around out there and I have to be honest.. I ****ing hate it lol

I can’t see him as anything other than Harry Potter.

On top of that, he isn’t burly or intimidating enough. Maybe he can act it up and reach that point but I think he gives off more of a weirdo crazy person vibe; whereas, Wolverine should give off a quiet confidence. He’s the dude you know is all there mentally, he’ll just **** you up if you cross a certain line.

I’m so excited for this movie. I really hope they live up to it and not eat itself like the last Thor movie.

Lot of people think RDJ as Iron Man is so iconic and irreplaceable but I’ve always loved Hugh as Wolverine. I wouldn’t want to be the Marvel exec responsible for finding then next Wolverine bc you just can’t do it any better than Hugh has.

They should pray the next Wolverine is a quality version as Warner Bros did having Joaquin Phoenix take on the Joker a little over a decade after Ledger passed.

Haven't seen this yet but was theorizing how Wolverine let down his world and my thought is this Wolverine didn't kill Jean Grey as the Phoenix in the Last Stand and he's like the only one that couldn't do it. Phoenix continues to destroy everyone on site, already killed Professor X and Cyclops, but Beast, Storm, Kitty Pryde, Angel, Colossus, Iceman, all of them but left the villains from that universe in tact because of what side they were on, but with Logans regenerative capabilities by the time he likely healed from that it was too late and Magneto and Phoenix won that day.

Just thinking what he would've done, or not done, to get all the X Men killed like that. Maybe eventually Cassandra Nova came out of hiding and killed off Jean Grey somehow to take power after the Phoenix did all the dirty work.

Latest teaser

I've entered the trying to avoid spoilery content area with this movie, but Logan taking on OG Sabertooth is pretty badass and worth the spoiler.

I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't going to be an entire army's worth of multiversal Deadpools and Wolverines taking on the combined rogue's gallery of the MCU and the Marvel Foxverse at some point.

I saw something the other day claiming Wesley Snipes’ Blade would make it in this movie.

I like that, with the multiverse, all of this is possible.. and don’t get me wrong, that would be ****ing awesome.. but

Yeah, I'm not sure if Snipes and Ryan Reynolds are a good match. I read something about how Reynolds and the rest of the Blade 3 cast were kind of put off and sick of Wesley Snipes by the end of the movie?

But that was a long time ago, and yes - that WOULD be ****ing awesome.....
