He'll be 26 or 27 by the time he starts unless Kirk gets hurt, so it doesn't make any sense...and if Kirk gets hurt they wasted a ton of cap room.

I think they said on McAfee that the Falcons can exit the contract after 2 years. Plus, he is still rehabbing his Achilles, so maybe he never plays again.
