Wright and Whit can love or hate each other. That's their problem.

I enjoy both at times. I strongly disagree with both at times. If I start to feel myself going "Meeeh, pass-" then I do and I tune in again next time...

Kudos for watching all of that. I made it about 2 minutes in and couldn't take it anymore. Seemed like he was just trying to promote his own shit. Him talking is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

Whitlock has always had good opinions and content. His problem from my POV is that he’s been unable to get along with/play nice with others at virtually every place he’s been. He’s had messy public exits at most if not all of his stops which has stunted his career in spite of the fact that his talent keeps affording him high profile opportunities.

Whitlock can be many things but stupid he is not. Few sports writers can tell a story better than Whitlock. That's his gift, knowing how to piece together a sports column. Peter King is the master of all but Whitlock is not far behind.

Then why can’t he find a bigger audience for his content? He couldn’t even stay on at Outkick. If you have the talent and are capable of building a big following, someone’s going to scratch you a big check and will put up with a certain amount of your bullshit (see Pat Mcaffee). Whitlock has become unemployable outside of fringe media because he’s more trouble than he’s worth.

I fully support Whitlock in this Stephen A thing but it's really something how many journalists and sports people are celebrating SAS's takedown of him (and the porn ad thing before that). And how I haven't seen anybody that has ever worked with Jason pipe up with something nice to say about him.

Whitlock is an extremely talented writer. He's also burned every bridge imaginable and is only employable now as a "look, I have a black friend!" hire in lower-tier right wing media. Thanks in part to a religious awakening that coincidentally happened at the same time he fell out with the last sports site that would have him. What's the move after this one goes goes bad, seeing if Alex Jones is hiring? Going full Clayton Bigsby?

I started reading him as a kid. Between that and his talent I want to feel bad for him. Then I remember he's done this all to himself.

The sports media is "celebrating" Stephen A. Myth's "takedown" because SAS is part of their group and Whitlock isn't.

It is high school level stuff.

There's some truth to this. I don't think this is going to get Jason the publicity that he thinks he needs...Think this is probably more of a boon for Steven A. Smith. Smiths' show sucks. Ratings are frequently in the toilet...By hook or crook he needs to inject freshness and excitement into his stale boring ass act and Whitlock couldn't help himself. Perfect target for Smith to rant and mug into the camera about...But the fact that all the journo's turned on one of their own to embrace a bozo clown really is a sad state of affairs in journo-land. Not a surprise though.

That doesn't explain the glee at which the "why am I getting dirty ads" thing spread among the same people just a week or so prior, because there wasn't anyone taking him down in that instance.

They just enjoy seeing Whitlock get embarrassed and shit on, which speaks to how how disliked he is in his (former) profession. The level of hate for him is not something you see towards someone who treated others well.

Sage Steele came out in support of Whitlock.

There are no doubt many others who are enjoying watching Whitlock expose Stephen A. Myth for the fraud that he is… but are too afraid to speak out.

Please tell me Whitlock isn't this dumb? The CIAA would have him in their Hall of Fame with a bio that explicitly states he received a scholarship to play there and his career was cut short due to injury as a lie? He'd have actual available statistics from playing (that suck) as well with his whopping 1.5 ppg and 20% fgp? I mean, you can beat the tree about Steven A being some jackass and fraud over alot of topics, but this is not really one of them.
