That is good to know and I can't say that I blame her for not wanting to give up control. This means any new material that comes out is from her and not fan fiction.

That cursed child abomination has her name on it and it's quite possibly one of the worst pieces of fiction I've ever read when you take everything into context.

Did they ever make that into a book? I think you could get the written script somewhere but a script isn't a book; there's just a ton left out (or added in) when you have to make a version that's spoken aloud.

It's essentially the worst of all worlds - the lack of visuals that comes from books with the lack of context/internal monologue that comes from movies.

The third movie in the Fantastic Beasts series was actually quite good. Shockingly so. Perhaps due to my extremely low expectations.

Mads Mikkelson was an awesome Grindelwald; much more to my mind's eye version of the character.

He made the movie. And really, the first one wasn't half bad. The 2nd one really took some starch out of the series and killed the enthusiasm for a surprisingly strong 3rd installment.

I've never been able to actually watch all of the 2nd one. And yeah, the first one wasn't terrible, just tainted by the 2nd.

I didn't finish it either.

And I really like Jude Law; figured he'd be an awesome Dumbledore. And really I do think he was pretty decent.

It was just a bad movie.
