Frank Clark ****ing sucks

Guy has done NOTHING in two games. Barely any pressures to speak of against trash OTs.

Yeah, I'm in bitchy gameday mode. Don't care. I'm tired of paying out the ass for defensive players who don't make plays.

At least Justin Houston could dominate against bad teams after we paid him.

I mean, has the pass rush been as good in the last month as it was from Clark in September, no.

But he is still making impact plays every game, and most importantly, I trust that he’s going to make shit happen when it matters most. Because that’s what he does. The Closer, that’s Frank.

As long as he’s not injured, I’ll sit this one out.

For the last 4-5 seasons Clark has had at least 9+ sacks per season. Last season he was credited with 8, but they took away two sacks, one was the INT Nnadi was credited with, which was actually Frank strip-sacking Rivers IIRC, and another that I believe was called back due to a holding call on someone else.

This season he's already has at least one sack taken away for a penalty, and a TFL I believe.

you guys really need to watch the coaches film or replay his snaps at 0.5x speed. You're missing just about everything.

Frank is one of those guys that makes the guys around him better, which will never show up in the stat sheet.

Someone already touched on it, but how do you think Seattle is feeling about letting him go right about now?

We got what I expected when it mattered most last year and I have no doubt we will again this year. It’s like you same people that were bitching at this time last year learned nothing about him from his legendary playoff/SB performance.

Keep finding somebody to bitch about though so you can play contrarian!

I don't think it's wrong to expect a guy making that kinda coin to produce all the time.

It's dumb to care once we see him do it when it matters tho.

I think Chief Fan would prefer Clark blindly freelance and pass-rush every single down instead of doing his job.
I would prefer him play like the elite player he's played to be.

Btw....what's his job on pass plays if he actually is doing it well?

Probably not enough is said about the way Spagnuolo’s scheme plays to individual pass rushers, either

Lots of zone coverages, lots of blitzes. Both those things encourage the QB to throw the football quickly more often than not.

We saw a lot of that yesterday - quick passes.
