That’s a smart release schedule. Get viewers firmly entrenched then keep them coming back each week, old school network style.

**** that model. I like watching a series when I want to watch not being forced to watch according to a marketing group.

If its really popular, I have no choice but to watch on their schedule due to spoilers everywhere aka GOT.

Agreed. I've missed a few episodes of doom patrol and stargirl and avoided spoilers so I can binge some

Now do you see why it’s smart scheduling?

Agreed.

Amazon isn't an Over-The-Air Free TV network, it's $12.99 per month or $119.00 per year.

This is a ploy on their part to make viewers pay for at least 2 months of Amazon Prime to see the show in "Real Time".

And I'd cancel HBO Max if I was paying more than the $7.50 a month rate I'm getting through Spectrum because it's a shit streamer that offers far less relevant content than either Starz or Showtime, both of which cost $7.50 per month combined.

It may also be a ploy on their part to try and stretch out limited release content in the wake of rona production cutdowns.

I find that to be extremely unlikely, especially this far in advance because if so, why not push the entire series back one month and drop it all at once, as they've always done?

This just seems like a money grab and poor way to treat customers, especially during a worldwide pandemic.

I’m paying $99 a year for Amazon Prime shipping. I’d pay 4X-5X that a year if Prime didn’t exist. The TV Prime ain’t worth $119 a year as a stand alone product.
