They're a playoff team. The AFC is terrible. They could still win the conference, actually. They could also get taken out by any other playoff team.

Go ahead roll the dice that the next HC will somehow magically be better than one of the top 10 flavors in NFL history.

This. However, it might be time for Andy to do another 'step away' from play-calling and let Bienemy take that as he's done in the past. The team as a whole needs more oversight.

If the defense doesn't start looking better pretty soon, you might consider firing Spagnuolo and promoting Daly or House.

A mid-season shake-up is a desperate move, but might light a fire.

We are eight years into the Reid experiment and the team is basically a QB, WR, TE and FS. With his own hand picked people on the staff. Lots of expensive contracts on defense, poor play from backup players and play calling that is more than head scratching.

Raunchy Reid...

Basically if you go look up the history if a coach doesn't take a team to the superbowl in 5 years, it's not happening.

Let's not be ridiculous. We have a soft division, we still will get healthy, and we almost made the super bowl last year with a shit defense. We're still a playoff team. But we ain't getting far enough until the defense gets its shit together. The defense and the players are still brand new so hopefully a little time they'll go from awful to below average which is really all we need.

They're worse.....and Mahomes isn't bailing them out the way he did last year because every team that plays us figured out not to do the track meet.

Run the ball, isolate the LB's in coverage and you're going to have 10+ play drives over and over.

This team is a broken record. Andy doesn't change and says the same thing every week. Andy is not the guy that will get us to the SB.

Yeah, but you're saying we're that much worse that a team who won homefield advantage last year is that much worse that we're not even a playoff team anymore. That's a huge leap.

This is a playoff team simply because our division is so bad.

But this defense is way too shitty to go anywhere once they get in.

The problem is our weaknesses are so magnified unless Mahomes is a god on every drive we are going to lose.
