It would help BUT against good o-line teams with good QBs we would still get carved up. Still too much time for guys like Brady, Rogers, Rivers, etc....IMHO.
Tanoh and Ogbah need to really step it up quicker. Yes they each have a sack already but they still can get blocked pretty consistently one on one from what I have seen from good o-lines. it is still early though so maybe. Spags had both good cover guys and great rushers in NY and how he beat Brady. The saving grace is that Bellichek learned he can't get into a shoot out with us unless Gronk comes back. With Edelman,Gordon,Brown and Gronk then yes they could keep up with us and they would have the edge because they have the better D. |

I agree with this. When you’re in the position we’re in and the biggest competition just got a top 5 WR, you make a move like this even if the price is large.

How many of yall gonna sport Ramsey avatars if yall get him? He's got some pretty sick ones out there. The one where he cried is Top 3.

Its along season man. What if the defense plays like it did the last 3 quarters yesterday and gets Claiborne back? I'm all for getting Ramsey but I dont think were ****ed with the current team.

I think the better odds are on a tag and trade of Jones to recoup if anything. If I’m giving up all that to have an elite corner, then I for damn sure want to keep him around for while.

We aren’t but Ramsey is a young proven talent that would make us way better instantly. That first would be for a DB which is a far riskier move than taking aproven player imo. Even in consideration for the future, it’s possibly the better move depending on the price.

I see him going to Oakland. He wants to be there, Gruden knows he has Mahomes in his division for his entire contract and has to find a way to try and stop him. Also has extra picks.
Just makes too much sense |

There's just no question. Veach has to do this in a Superbowl year when your nemisis just picked up AB. Question is will the chiefs stop being pussies and go for it.

Let’s just lay out a realistic, optimal scenario.
- Chiefs trade for Ramsey, giving up: 2020 1st 2020 2nd 2021 3rd - Chiefs win Super Bowl - Chiefs tag/extend Jones - Chiefs trade Ramsey away for: 2020 1st 2021 3rd I could see something like that happening. In which case you basically traded a 2nd rounder for a Lombardi.... or nothing if you fail. Worth it, IMO. |
