*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Today on 610 Ron "The Show" Hughley talked for five minutes about how if Kelce was black the coverage of this would be 180 degrees different. I really don't understand how his mind works, and I guess I should be happy about that.

It was a fun event. Pretty typical fundraiser in that the sold a ton of autographed footballs and jerseys. His agent offered up four suite tickets and pregame field passes plus a game worn and autographed headband and sleeve. I think that went for $13k iirc. At the end they had Mitch interview him. Nothing really new but he does come off as an authentically good guy who is enjoying the ride. Fun event for sure and I was lucky to go, particularly with the lovely JennyGump on my arm.

Everyone loves Patrick Mahomes. It's not just us. How many other QB's could you say that about?

I think it's rare that you get to see an athlete acting as a fan as emotional as most normal fans get. Yet another reason why he's unique.
Don't forget that Mahomes is close friends with a number of players on the BB team, so he was personally invested in wanting his friends to win.

Does not owning that shirt make me not a Mahomo, cause if not, I could 100% get down with owning that shirt.
