It was a horrible loss.
And I love finding a way to fit in a reference from The Shining in a football game review. |

I'm trying to be optimistic today but I really think I'm just lying to myself and I'm not buying it

When we lost to the Rams....it bothered me a little more but I was still optimistic about our chances. We lost in a ****ing shootout. When we lost last night.....my optimism was pretty much gone. I've seen this show before and it ends the same ****ing way. Disappointment. Then to hear that Fuller broke his wrist....that was just a kick in the head while I was already bleeding on the floor. |

The Chiefs three losses have been by a combined total of seven points. That sounds good. Until you also take into account that they are the only team in NFL history to score over 50 points in a game and lose. That's how bad this defensive secondary is. Pitiful.

And the first team (in the last 89 games)to be up by 14 points with 5 minutes left and lose. Don't forget that ****ing gem.

I was actually thinking about going to Arrowhead this year for the playoffs.
But then part of me said, “don’t go because they’re not meant to be trusted and will find a way to **** this whole thing up.” After yesterdays loss, my intuition was strengthened more so now than it ever has been about this team. This is what I say, if they’re gonna **** up at least we know how that **** up will occur. The broken record shall repeat itself: -defensive playoff collapse to Indy -defensive playoff collapse to Tennessee -lost to Pats on final drive of game -lost to rams on final drive of game -lost to chargers on final drive of game *Too many of these going on against good teams in close games. Message is clear, defense can’t hold up in close games against good teams. And they’ll most likely lose that way come playoff time. **** it. I’d rather stay at home and save money. |
