Anybody notice the Rams hurry up strategy?
The Rams did this 5 times against us and it confused the ever living **** out of us. Idk if I’ve seen this before in the pro game.
They huddled, then when they broke the huddle with the play, they quickly rushed to the line, had everyone set and snapped the ball with no time for the defense to read the play design. Gotta tip my cap to McVay here, though I feel like he got this from CFB. I hope Andy copies this and uses it at an opportune time. Great strategy. Imagine this team doing this with Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes. |

How is this a mystery or breakthrough? It seems pretty basic to me.

They do this often, it’s a staple of their game plan. They get lots of big plays this way

I'd imagine Belichick and Tomlin will see this and use it a few times in the postseason.

One thing I've heard is that because of the way the rules are set up, McVay can still communicate with Goff through the helmet until the play clock hits 15, so it gives him a chance to help Goff read the defense.

I was there yelling at the Chiefs to BE READY every time the Rams came to the line.
I don't think it helped. |

I'm trying HARD not to blame refs. I hate doing it. I don't do it. However I saw multiple offensive plays by the rams were there were multiple fouls committed. I mean they have nearly a dozen uncalled pre snap penalties. These things aren't judgement calls. They're literally obvious fouls that weren't called. It's objective. There's no subjectivity to pre snap fouls! |
