Looking back, Dorsey was likely very lucky he didn't get the boot after the way he mismanaged Tamba's contract. He probably got a pass for that for being a "rookie" GM, but that was a monumental ****up. We essentially ended up having our cap take a hit TWICE for one guy, iirc.

You are happy about the team drafting a situational player with the 1st round pick, especially considering that it is looking like the coaching staff wanted Carr and Dorsey wanted Ford. You don't have any problem paying Houston 100 mil for one game where he played lights out. |

I really liked his tone of voice compared to Clark Hunt who I kind of cringe to listen too. I think he is going go far for the Chiefs he is young will undoubtly make mistakes but I think he will over come them by that he can learn from them rather quickly and over the years really set this team up for success. Did I mention he sounds smart? |

Houston is not as good as he once was, but he is still a beast if he stays healthy(hopefully he will) |

Just to confirm I'd say Ford would have been a great 3rd round pick.
Period. We can't DR. WHO this $3it - we have him. Now that we do let's be honest about his value. Quote:
In short - I HATED IT. Quote:
You can't predict injuries. Houston is, by far, the most BALANCED OLB in the league. When healthy he can cover, shut down the run, and he's DOMINANT over anyone lined up opposite him when he rushes. He's a ****ing monster no one can defend with one person in the pass rush. He dominates RT's. PAY DYAT MAN HEES MONEE! |

It's not Ford's fault he was drafted where he was. It was Houston's fault he was drafted where he was. Those picks are spent. Now evaluate the worth of the player... |

In hindsight, Fisher may have been the best pick in the top 10. That draft was just an awful draft. Ford has proven to be quite valuable and productive and wouldn't have fallen much further than he did. You guys are acting like he's Vernon Gholston or some shit. |
