We actually spliced several cars together, Initial car was a 4cyl 2dr with 4wh drum brakes, but a pristine main body. Front frame and rear end from an SS. Fender here, hood there, trunk lid from Timbuktu. Then had to rerun wires for EVERYTHING. Last edited by Baby Lee; 03-18-2015 at 10:07 AM.. |

Do a rat-rod. I think they're cool, i wanna do one someday. They don't cost nearly as much as other projects can, you can use junkyard parts and you don't have to worry about painting it!

Are the calipers aluminum? If so, you might be able to polish them. My friend did that to his Camaro, had them professionally polished, it looked pretty cool. |

R/T stripe from a Challenger too. Yeah, black's been my choice so far but I'm liking that idea of polishing them out. I'm the person that takes his wheels off so he can clean/polish the insides of the wheels. With my Charger I'll also tire shine the inside walls. All that work "might" get noticed each summer. I was reading an auto rag editor talking about how to take pix of your hot rod He said to always get all 4 wheels/tires in the shot. |

White Mustang.
Those are bad ass little cars. Back when I worked, a buddy was big into Mustangs. He built a 10 second pig out of one. His birthday cake & 600 HP horse. He likes Mustangs. Last edited by rtmike; 03-18-2015 at 11:57 AM.. |

That's how I like to photo them, especially the longer they are.

I thought about that, but I've never welded before. Welding in new motor mounts sounds like not something I want to do as a first-timer.
