They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

It's pretty simple. We can beat zone. But when they body up and double Kelce and then go man we can't beat it.

Look at Chargers game.

When they played zone we got guys wide open.

When they played more man and challenged us it was Punt Punt Punt.

Draft. Physical. Talent.

We did that with Mahomes and Hill and look how it worked out.

We didn’t with CEH and Skyy and look how it turned out.

Always take a chance on the more physically gifted player.

So at the end of the day, the WR's are either just not physically talented enough to get open, really suck at running routes or it's both...

This is pretty spot on in my view, they took it 1 step to far.

The real question is would DK have been DK in KC? The routes he kills defenders with aren’t the routes utilized on this offense consistently.

As far as Pickens goes, would he be as productive in KC? Would he be able to get on the field as quickly in this system?

Neither of those are defending the picks of Mecole and Skyy.

DK is basically a bigger faster better MVS...MVS is nothing more than a dude who runs flys to pull defenders.

And if your offense can't use a guy that size/speed you need to think about what you are doing.

I'll say this for Pickens too, if you see a very productive player and question if he'd be productive in your offense you should question if your offense needs some adjustment.

I’ve been saying for 6 weeks I think Andy needs to simplify this offense to get these guys going.

So, yes I agree.

I’m not 100% certain, but I think he already has. The 3’sticks and one deep route thing he’s been calling wasn’t a staple of the offense even last season.

Eh - questions as to Pickens productivity are vestigal excuses for Skyy Moore and little else.

Yes, Pickens would've been productive here. Very much so. I have no idea how anyone can watch what Rice has done and still believe otherwise.

Make it as simple as you want - it won't matter when you have guys that won't run dig routes like they're drawn up.

Andy isn't the problem. We're playing 10 vs. 11 out there and to make matters worse we have a QB who's convinced himself it's 7 v 11.

Dumbing down the offense isn't the solution.

Moving forward the plan is for Mahomes to manage the game, run the ball, and play good defense.

We don’t have WRs that can win downfield or scare defenses.

So glad we are taking the Tom Brady approach when it comes to letting talent walk and not bringing any in for him.

Super solid approach.

Have you watched an Andy Reid offense ever?
