They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

His sense of leverage is so much more important than his speed

I don't see any reason to freak out. If KC had the mediocre/bad D of past years, there'd be reason to worry. Instead, they have a vastly improved D that might be as good as any in the league.
Chiefs have played 6 teams. 4/6 of those pass defenses are bottom 6. Last years offense, 4/6 pass defenses were top 15. Next week by playing LAC we will have played 5 of the 6 worst pass defenses.

You are comparing apples and oranges. There is no reason to panic but right now our pass offense has not been good… to date. And I’m tired of the year over year comparisons. We all know what we see.

I mean - Mahomes could've walked in for the score but didn't in order to run out the clock. That's pretty straightforward if you're operating with a small sample size and ignoring the play in looking at points per game.

Most teams had played 5 games coming into today. If even that. I don't think we really know where defenses rank yet.

Did you think the passing offense looked great vs the Colts, Chargers and Bills early last year? Three performances as mediocre as any so far this season.

The pass offense may not be up to par yet but the ground game has been better and the defense has been far better. They're a more complete team.

Been reading that a few available receivers are

Marquis Brown (Arizona) who may be available for a 4th or 5th
Mecole Hardman (NYJ) who could be available for a swap of 6th round picks
Jerry Jeudy (Denver) who could be available for a 3rd or 4th
Courtland Sutton (Denver) who could be available for a 5th or 6th
JJSS (New England) who could be available for a 6th
Darius Slayton (NYG) who could be available for a 6th or later

Since Watson and James are out for an extended time - MVS continues to disappoint - all we really have are Rice, Ross and Toney

I mean there are people who want to sign another guy that not only was a FA, but was a FA we didn't even try to re-sign.

Id trade for Hopkins or Hollywood if they come available.

Correct, no reason to make a big deal out of it... we're playing fine.

But, if we wanted to add a little spark to the offense in the spirit of constantly trying to improve the team I'd suggest a trade for Hollywood Brown. Perfect fit in my opinion for our current scenario.

Not that he's a good fit for us financially, but I wonder what Devante Adams is thinking now that Goroppolo has a broken back? He probably out of there!
