*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

I know it would likely mean the team isn't great overall, but I'd love to see Pat go nuclear again this year. With this new offensive line and an additional game, I want to see some ridiculous shit like 6,000 yards and 60 TDs. And of course another Super Bowl win. None of this shit matters without that.

Patrick is already the greatest player in franchise history.

Only MVP to ever play for the Chiefs.

Second ever Super Bowl MVP.

Two time conference champion.

Only other person worth entertaining is DT.

Been saying this all offseason. We have never seen Mahomes with a "good" offensive line. Which is unreal to consider.

The person running the page actually isn't a Chiefs fan. For that reason, I thought the list was decent.

I can see wanting to hold off on putting Mahomes in tier 1 due to only starting 3 seasons.

I'd definitely move Jamaal Charles up a tier, though.

On an unrelated note: our #1 and #2 all-time receiving yards leaders are Tony Gonzalez and Travis Kelce, a couple TEs. If these two weren't top 5 TEs of all-time I'd say that's really ****ing sad.

Honestly, it still is kind of sad. Eddie Kennison is #10 all-time! Eddie Kennison! Derrick Alexander #11. ****ing Kimble Anders is #14 lol

It's odd looking back at the Alex days while living in the Age of Mahomes. I actually get why he had so many fans - he was the best QB we had playing for us since Green. And he wasn't awful, but he probably never lived up to his contract by not being clutch in the biggest moments.

But still how little we knew, those of us on both sides of the debate, now that we've seen Mahomes do his thing.

That's what my dad always says when Kimble Anders is brought up lol. I watched back then but I don't really remember that moment. I've of course seen it on youtube since then. That aside, he was a really good all around fullback. Players like that don't exist anymore in the NFL. Hell, fullbacks barely exist anymore in the NFL.

With 17 games and a Red Line that marks out pass rushes, I think 6,000 might actually be possible.
