The $ Sneed is demanding is waaaaaay to much for a corner that has chronic knee issues.

Sneed really can't demand anything more than 2 guaranteed years, he has kind of given us all the leverage here. The market has proven he's not worth what he thinks.
You can give him something like 4/80 with 50 guaranteed and clear him off the books before McDuffie even comes due. Next year, Reid is off the books as well with Connor and Cook still there likely starting at safety which leaves Sneed as the only member of the secondary not on a rookie deal at that point. It's doable, if they want to. That's really the only question, and I do understand wanting to allocate the resources elsewhere though as well. This is a very tough situation that seems to be getting more complicated as we go. |

Just confirmed what I said early about these Chiefs "insiders" knowing jackshit about the team's dealings. Just a bad look. |

We won't get a 2nd round pick or anything close to it if he's demanding top CB money. Dude is playing this like Orlando Brown and he's going to **** himself.

Eh, whatever I guess. Wanted the kid to get his bag while he could, but I'll settle for the outcome of him playing on the tag which I believe:
1) gives us the best chance to three-peat 2) gives us the most future flexibility If he balls out again, might end up with a third-round comp pick for him anyways. It's the no brainer path the more this info flows out. |

Yep, this is fine by me. Honestly couldn't have ended any better, even getting a 2nd wasn't going to offset his loss in the short term anyway. Get one more year out of him and collect the comp pick.

Brown did fine when you look at the guaranteed money he got from Cincy And that’s before we even start to talk about Chris Jones and the result of his playing on a one year deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Or be prepared to get one more year out of him and that's it. The comp pick isn't guaranteed.

Sneed has made a little over $5.5 million to date. I’d bet he’s pushing it bc he thinks he has leverage due to the tag netting him $19.8 million.
