I went to a Boys and Girls Club event in Springfield last year and PMII was the guest speaker. They were auctioning off to catch a pass from him at the banquet. I think the winning bid went around $25K. PMII threw the ball, and the guy dropped it. PMII tried again, and same result.

Hopefully Pat is driving through SD sometime and gets a flat tire and I pull over to help. I'm guessing he'd throw me a pass then if he had a FB in his ride. |

It's not any different than when i paid $150 to play Earl the Pearl, or $50 to play Mike Massey, or $100 to play Jeanette Lee (all HOF pool players). I always enjoy getting a chance to actually play against great players and it's just that much better when they're players that I've watched or been a fan of on TV. Getting a chance to shake hands, say a few fan-boy type things and catch a couple passes from Pat Mahomes II (soon-to-be GOAT) would easily be worth $1,000 to me. YMMV. |

if the chiefs win the SB again on a last-second TD they oughta auction off the rights to be replaced in the team Bluray as the receiver....you come out for a day and suit up and try to recreate the play with Mahomes....camera crew, lights, fake fans in the background, everything....every other play in the recap is the same but on the TD, it's some fat white guy catching the TD and celebrating with the team....
...NOW THAT WOULD BE COOL! |
