Also Bleacher report says 10 Big 10 football players have myocarditis.

Any attorney halfway worth a shit is going to tell them to cancel. Cause if they don't they're opening themselves to a shit ton of lawsuits down the line.

If any conference is ****ed from all this it's the MAC. But that was coming anyway, this just speeds it up.

But unfortunately I don't think this will be nearly the hand grenade many suggest it will be. Students will just do what they've been doing for about 2 decades now - take out government backed loans and pay for a product that's worth about 10% of what's being charged for it.

Only now it's only worth about 5% of what's being charged for it - so it's a marginally bigger rat-**** than it's ever been, but it's been a rat-**** for a long time now. It isn't like the average college student has proven a savvy shopper in this regard for a quite some time, so why should we expect any meaningful change to come from it?

Today's colleges and universities are, for the most part, cesspools of of waste, lunacy, and stupidity.

If people took the cash they were going to spend sending their kids to college to be indoctrinated and instead helped them get an electrician/plumbing/HVAC/etc apprenticeship, then bought ounces of silver with the excess money, both they and their kids will be much wealthier and happier in the short and long run.

And this is coming from someone with a degree who never would have suggested anything remotely like this even 10 years ago.

Well Frost wanted to play but I think he laid out the perfect argument. First of all atleast at Nebraska theres no proof any of the players got COVID at the facility. Allowing practices keeps the players on a schedule, players wont be able to deviate from their nutrition and sleep schedules, they will also be monitored for COVID where if they are just released to be normal students this wouldnt be the case.

I get what you're saying and think they should be playing but since that isnt going to be the case this is the next best thing.

I'm glad these guys will get to continue to practice. This is an extended redshirt season and for a young team like his with top 20 recruiting classes the past few years will only make them better.

If the NFL plays all season long and gets those Saturday night prime time slots, there isn’t going to be a salary cap problem.

Very few CFB games, NBA over, MLB over and a lot of shows pushing back new seasons bc of filming delays.

The NFL would set ratings records that might never be broken

The good news for Neb and Iowa State is they can say they didn't lose to Iowa this year.

If Iowa State plays, and Iowa doesn’t... sounds like Iowa forfeit to me.

Let's be honest. The act of playing football voids every protocol. You're not wearing masks and you're not physical distancing. At all. So quit trying to pretend there are any protocols.

COVID is being spread in most US communities. Anyone can get it. By now, most people know people who have had it. In this situation, with no protocols, it has high potential to race through a team. On any given game day, you run the risk having a dozens of players out. To prevent this scenario, you really need to bubble the whole operation. That probably isn't feasible, but it is an interesting thought exercise.

The NFL situation is only slightly better. At least the players don't live together 24/7.
