I want to show you my newest sports card...

The sports card market is absolutely booming right now. I sold off enough of my other stuff to buy this. There are only 10 of them. It is indescribably beautiful.

What are your plans if it doesn't come back authentic from PSA?
I already know the signature is real. I've owned at least 50 Salvy auto's over the years. The main reason I'm sending it in is for the grading. If this grades a gem mint 10, I should be able to make a good sum of money on it whenever I decide to sell it.

But to address your question about a signature being rejected by PSA as non-authentic, since it is ebay, you can basically just file a return stating the item was not as described and they'll allow it. Ebay actually normally has an authenticity guarantee program for cards, but this one did not qualify as it wasn't a high enough dollar value sale to meet the minimum ($250 if I remember correctly).

Have your autographed Salvy items been through buying cards and other stuff he had already autographed or have you been able to get things in person at games or elsewhere?

I have a 1985 World Series ball autographed by George Brett & Bret Saberhagen. I bought a 2015 World Series ball that I would love to get Salvy to sign someday.

Of course a ebay refund would be the last resort. I was just wondering if you were going to give JSA or BGS a try if PSA won't authenticate it. FWIW I'm not saying it is not authentic. I have just seen people get their own auto's in person and PSA wouldn't authenticate some.
