Prisco still hasn't hit broken clock status. Chiefs will lose to Jags?
Prisco's Past Predictions for Chiefs:
2013 – 6-10 (Actual: 11-5) 2014 – 6-10 (Actual: 9-7) 2015 – 8-8 (Actual: 11-5) 2016 – 9-7 (Actual: 12-4) 2017 – 8-8 (Actual: 10-6) This year so far... Week 5 Pick: Jaguars 23, Chiefs 17 This is the game of the week. Watching Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes against the Jaguars defense will be a treat. Mahomes hasn’t thrown a pick this season and the Jaguars defensive backs don’t have one. That changes here. Watch for T.J. Yeldon to have a big day running it for the Jaguars. Jacksonville takes it. Week 4 Pick: Broncos 28, Chiefs 27 Patrick Mahomes has been on fire, while the Denver defense hasn't played up to expectations yet. I think that changes here. The Chiefs have defensive issues as well, so the Broncos can get their offense rolling some too. The Broncos take it in an upset. Week 3 Pick: Chiefs 31, 49ers 28 This will be the first home start for Patrick Mahomes, who has been on fire. Too bad the Chiefs defense isn't very good right now. That means we will see a shootout between Mahomes and Jimmy Garoppolo. It will be fun to watch as the Chiefs win a high-scoring game. Week 2 Pick: Steelers 30, Chiefs 21 This is consecutive road games for the Chiefs, which is always tough. It's even tougher against a wounded Steelers team that tied the Browns last week. Pittsburgh will get it rolling here as they have defeated the Chiefs six of the last seven meetings. They make it seven of eight. Week 1 Pick: Chargers 30, Chiefs 20 The Chiefs are now Patrick Mahomes' team, but this is a tough road start against a good pass-rushing team. The Chargers will get after Mahomes and force a couple of turnovers that Philip Rivers will turn into points. Chargers take it. The Chiefs have defensive issues as well. I don't see anything controversial about that prediction. Jaguars defense is very tough and the Chiefs defense is vulnerable. Gonna be a battle regardless of the outcome.

It's not the individual pick for this week. In and of itself, it's not unreasonable. The issue is his overall record of picking so negatively when it comes to the Chiefs. That's why I posted the history of his picks. Prisco has consistently dogged the Chiefs since Reid got here. And when he does pick them, it's usually a score below the spread. The few times I've seen him on tv, he's not spoke well of the Chiefs. Not sure what Andy did to this guy, but apparently it was bad. (BTW, maybe we should thank him for the reverse mojo. As long as he picks us to lose in the playoffs and Super Bowl...)

Yeppers. Highly unlikely the Chiefs or any team go undefeated. (Unless the NFL is THAT desperate to pimp the 2nd largest TV market in the U.S.) So pesky Pete will eventually get his moment in the sun. I'm hoping it doesn't come until the last game of the regular season, when the Chiefs are 15-0, playing all of their backups in a meaningless game. Which would mean that they're going into the playoffs with home field advantage all the way thru.

(Uh oh.. where did his pos go to school?
(Please don't be Florida, Please don't be Florida... but... kinda seems like it from that picture.) EDIT: Ahh.. found it. Arizona State. But, he did begin as a beat reporter for the Jags, so maybe he was trying to look like a UF grad. Not just the Izod, but the colors. |

Why do people care about one of the worst predictors of all time?
He doesn't care if he's right, he only cares about clicks. |

I hear that Prisco and Eric Mangini are trying to have a baby together. So that it can grow up and finally be the fat piece of **** defensive lineman that puts an end to Mahomes’ illustrious career. Then, at long last, their idiotic work will be done.

Everyone keeps waiting the shoe to drop and Mahomes to play a truly bad game. So far it hasn't happened. Our schedule is murder and our defense is awful. Most games outside the division we won't be favored. Maybe against Seattle and AZ
Definitely AZ. |
