Not a rumor: Ryan Lilja may be returning to KC

EDIT: No longer a rumor. The Chiefs have reportedly reached out to Lilja.

We're three deep at guard, however. If this is true, I think this portends ugly things for Rodney Hudson's recovery. I think the Chiefs may be angling for a patch at center.

The Return of Ryan Lilja?

I've never had inside information before, but today I do. It's weird - and it was from out of the blue today - but I have it on good authority that Ryan Lilja is negotiating with the Chiefs to return for the 2013 season. That isn't to say that he would make the cut for the active roster after training camp, but I'd say he's got a damn good shot at that. What would you think to have Lilja back in the fold?
— I ain't saying, cause if I do someone's gonna get mad

Well, this could potentially throw yet another wrench in the entire draft breakdown.

Rodney Hudson's leg is the entire lower extremity or limb of his body, including the foot, thigh and even the hip or gluteal region; however, the precise definition in human anatomy refers only to the section of the lower limb extending from the knee to the ankle.

Rodney used his legs for standing, walking, jumping, running, kicking, and similar activities, and they constitute a significant portion of his mass.
